About the Crich Easter 1940s World War II Home Front Weekend
tep back in time to Britain on the Home Front at our World War II / 1940’s Event. Historic wartime road and military vehicles will be on display and mingling with our vintage trams from the 1940’s period. You will be entertained with war-time songs from a variety of entertainers throughout the day including: Jayne Darling; Kevin Mac; Marina Mae;The Bluebird Belles and Peter Wayre. There will be children’s activities each day including an Easter egg hunt for children aged 4 - 15 years. The Red Lion Pub will serve drinks, including cask ales, while visitors can join in with traditional pub games. Visitors dressing in 1940’s / World War II Home Front costume will receive reduced admission prices.
