We attended the show on 21st June with our vintage car. It could have been a wonderful event BUT - there were no advertising boards giving directions around the surrounding area at all. The entrance to the site was not visible until we actually drove past it, and more seriously there should have been a warning SLOW DOWN, SHOW ENTRANCE sign on the road. We constantly heard the very fast passing traffic hooting angrily at visiting vehicles going in or out of the site and it's potentially a serious accident situation. there were people arriving to do the boot sale who were complaining bitterly to the helpers that they were not shown where to go and having to wait a long time for help. The show cars were placed very haphazardly, with no apparent system. Also the raffle was strange, £1 a ticket and drawn 2 hourly and only two numbers drawn each time, after which you would need to buy more tickets and wait some more hours, not sure that is even legal. The range of prizes were not announced, neither was the benificiary, even the very nice lady selling the tickets was not sure of the procedure. What charity did the raffle money go to out of interest? Such a shame that poor management is spoiling what could be a brilliant event. Such wonderful weather too. We would not want to come again unless it is run more efficiently. I think your hand out ads asking for volunteers for next year might be a lost cause.

The Show ground is in Dorset not Wiltshire
